Six Star Pre Workout explosion Review: is there any Side-Effects & are the Ingredients Strong Enough?

The Six Star brand is a well-known line of supplements that is brought to you by the same company who creates the MuscleTech product line. The Six Star range which comprises of creatine, protein and many pre-workouts, isn’t as bodybuilder-orientated than the Muscletech line.

Along with the scientifically-backed ingredients, this makes it a popular choice for athletes looking for an edge during training and sporting performance.

As a supplement with 12 ingredients, 33 servings, and 5 flavors, Six Star’s entry level pricing does not come at the expense of quality, as you're about to find out in our Six Star Pre Workout Explosion Review.

Six Star Explosion Ingredients And Nutrition Facts

The first ingredients that are worth talking about, are beta-alanine (1.5g) and creatine monohydrate (1.5g), which as you're about to learn a little bit later, are the polar opposite of one another.

Pump Complex

Also of interest is Six Star's Advanced Pump Blend which as the name suggests, is designed to increase intra-workout muscle pumps and vascularity. But what you might not know (yet) is that citrulline and citrulline malate have promising potential to reduce DOMS.

Muscle Soreness can prevent you from getting back in the gym as quick as you would like, which is whey they're a welcomed addition in the formula.

And, of course, no good pre-workout is complete without caffeine (135mg), which along with l-tyrosine, is capable of improving your mental performance and stress response. There's also taurine which can help to smooth out any jitters from the caffeine and vitamin C which has benefits as an antioxidant.

Advantages And Effectiveness

Being formulated for athletes, bodybuilders, and every active person in between, Six Star Explosion tackles performance from the ground up, with a clear emphasis on strength and endurance, but also recovery.

It is manufactured using the world's most studied form of creatine, which is the premier ingredient for bolder performances on the pitch, or more power in the weight room.

Similarly, beta alanine has spent a lot of time in the research lab and is considered to be an essential supplement for muscular endurance. As an athlete, it can really make pushing past the pain barrier less of an uphill battle, which can translate into more points for your team or more seconds shaved off your PR.

As for pre-game performance, beta alanine assists your work capacity inside the gym by increasing carnosine stores in your muscles, which lets you squeeze out more repetitions.

And for any bodybuilders, arginine and citrulline make feeling the working muscle that much easier by increasing your intra-set pumps. More citrulline would be the icing on the cake, but given that there are 2 forms of arginine and citrulline malate, we don't consider it to be a significant setback.

Usage Instructions

If this is your first time using Six Star Explosion, mix one scoop with around 6 oz of water and drink 30 minutes before hitting the gym or starting your sporting performance.

After, you can increase the dosage to 2 scoops which provides a nice boost in all nutrients. For this dose, use around 12 oz of cold water and drink 30 minutes before physical activity.

Sizes, Servings, and Scoop

The tub has 33 servings. If you eventually take 2 scoops at a time, then you only get around 17 servings which isn’t a whole lot but given the affordability, is still excellent value in our opinion.

One scoop of powder weighs 7g which fairly average for a supplement in this category.

What Flavors Are Available?

The 5 flavors, which are free from sugar and carbs, taste genuinely good but are very sweet for some people. If you don't like this, we find that diluting with extra water makes the flavor less intense. If you've ever tried C4, these flavors might make you reminisce.

How Does It Compare?

Choosing the perfect pre-workout supplement for gameday and training can be quite complicated with all the choice you have. So if you are not sure which brand to buy, you can check out the comparisons here or have a look at our other pre workout reviews.

Overall Review

This is a fantastic supplement in many ways. Helping athletes and fitness folk of all levels, Six Star Explosion is known for its energizing formula that can help turn a lousy workout into new personal bests.

A widely recognized and used supplement, it is a good option for those who want to feel energetic, without feeling overwhelmed by too many stimulants.

We really believe this is a useful product. But compared to Vintage Blast, we feel that it falls a little short. When it comes to the strongest dosage of each ingredient, Vintage Blast is the clear winner.

But given its affordable price point, we are not discounting the benefits of this supplement, in fact, we ranked it as our #2 best pre workout of the year. So, if you are looking for an energy boost that is powered by tried and tested ingredients, give it a go and see the effects for yourself.

We hope you found of Six Star Pre Workout Explosion review informative, and after reading it, hopefully, your mind is a little clearer on which supplement to buy.
